The short version
Some of the links on HapnGo are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, HapnGo may earn a commission. You never pay more because of it. The price is the vendor's price, whether you arrive through a link here or type the address yourself.
This page explains exactly how that works, because you deserve to know before you click rather than after.
How the links work
Outbound links to tools go through a redirect on this site, in the form /go/<tool>. The redirect sends you straight to the tool's own website. Some of those redirects carry an affiliate tag; some do not.
- Affiliate links carry rel="sponsored" in the page code, which is the standard marker search engines expect.
- A visible note appears on the page, so the disclosure is where you can see it, not buried in the source.
- The redirect counts a plain number of clicks per tool — nothing more. No personal data is recorded and no cookie is set by the redirect.
Which programmes
HapnGo is, or may be, part of affiliate programmes run by tools covered on the site. Examples include Hostinger, Semrush, Jasper, ElevenLabs, Murf, Writesonic, Frase and Surfer SEO. The list changes as tools are added or dropped from the directory.
If and when Amazon links are used on the site, this notice applies: As an Amazon Associate, HapnGo earns from qualifying purchases.
What a commission does not buy
This is the part that matters most.
- Recommendations are not influenced by commissions. A tool is written about because it is worth writing about, not because it pays.
- A tool's faults are stated whether or not it pays. If something is slow, overpriced, badly supported, or simply worse than a free alternative, that is what the page says.
- Listings in the tools directory are editorial and are not for sale. Nobody can buy a place in the directory, a higher position, or a kinder verdict.
- Paid placement, where it exists, is labelled "Sponsored" so you can tell it apart from editorial coverage at a glance.
- Advertising is labelled "Advertisement".
The reason for holding this line is practical as much as ethical: a directory that can be bought is worthless to the reader, and a worthless directory earns nothing anyway.
Why affiliate links at all
HapnGo is free to read, carries no paywall, and asks for nothing but an email address if you want the daily briefing. Commissions and advertising are what pay for the hosting, the domain and the time spent keeping the news and the directory current. If you find the site useful and are going to buy a tool anyway, using a link here is a way to support it that costs you nothing.
Prices and offers
Prices, plans, free tiers and trial lengths belong to the vendors and change often. What is written here can go out of date between one visit and the next. Always confirm the current price and terms on the vendor's own site before you buy. Nothing on HapnGo is a binding offer, and no purchase contract is formed here — you buy from the vendor, under the vendor's terms, and any refund or cancellation right is theirs to honour.
