What HapnGo publishes
HapnGo (https://hapngo.org) publishes four things: an AI news aggregator, an AI-tools directory, a set of how-to guides called The Journey, and a Daily Briefing that also goes out as a free email newsletter. The site is written in English, with a translated interface in seven languages. It is run by Leonardo Irimia as sole operator, which means one person is answerable for everything on it.
How the news section works
Headlines are pulled hourly from the public RSS feeds published by the outlets themselves. Each item is shown as a headline and a short summary, with:
- the name of the source, displayed on the item;
- a link to the original article on the publisher's own site.
The purpose is to send readers to the original, not to keep them here. Copyright in the headlines and articles stays with the publishers.
Publishers can ask for their feed, or an individual item, to be removed by writing to hello@hapngo.org. It is done promptly and without argument.
AI-assisted content, stated openly
The Daily Briefing is written with AI assistance from the day's headlines and is reviewed by the operator before publication. It is labelled as AI-assisted on the page itself, not only here. Interface translations into the other languages are machine-assisted and reviewed.
This is disclosed to meet the transparency expectations of Article 50 of the EU AI Act. The plainer reason is that a reader is entitled to know how a thing was made before deciding how much weight to give it.
How tools are listed
- Listings are editorial and are not sold. No one can buy a place in the directory, a better position, or a softer verdict.
- Any paid placement is labelled "Sponsored", clearly, on the item itself.
- Advertising is labelled "Advertisement" and kept visually separate from editorial content.
- A tool's faults are stated whether or not it pays. Where a tool is slow, overpriced, poorly supported, or beaten by a cheaper or free alternative, the write-up says so.
- Commissions do not influence recommendations. Some outbound links are affiliate links, explained in full on the Affiliate Disclosure page. Clicks are counted per tool as a plain number, with no personal data and no cookie.
Accuracy, and its limits
Two things are true at once: every effort is made to be right, and some of what is here will be wrong. Feeds carry errors, tools change their plans overnight, and prices belong to the vendors and move without notice. Check the current price and terms on the vendor's own site before buying anything.
Nothing on HapnGo is legal, financial, medical, tax or investment advice. It is general information written for a general audience.
Corrections
If something here is wrong, write to hello@hapngo.org. Corrections are made within two working days and noted on the page, so the record shows what changed rather than quietly replacing it. This applies to a wrong price, a misattributed headline, a broken claim about a tool, or a mistake in a guide.
Independence
HapnGo takes no money in exchange for coverage, ranking or tone. Its income comes from advertising and from affiliate commissions on links a reader chooses to use, both of which are disclosed. No advertiser, vendor or affiliate programme sees an article before it is published or has any say over what it says.
Complaints about coverage
If you are a publisher, a vendor, or a reader with a complaint about something published here, write to hello@hapngo.org. Complaints are read by the operator personally and answered. Where a complaint is right, the page is corrected and the correction noted.
