What HapnGo publishes

HapnGo (https://hapngo.org) publishes four things: an AI news aggregator, an AI-tools directory, a set of how-to guides called The Journey, and a Daily Briefing that also goes out as a free email newsletter. The site is written in English, with a translated interface in seven languages. It is operated by Leonard Irimia, who is legally responsible for everything on it.

How the news section works

Headlines are pulled hourly from the public RSS feeds published by the outlets themselves. Each item is shown as a headline and a short summary, with:

  • the name of the source, displayed on the item;
  • a link to the original article on the publisher's own site.

The purpose is to send readers to the original, not to keep them here. Copyright in the headlines and articles stays with the publishers.

Where a card shows a picture, it is either the publisher's own share image, loaded from the publisher's server and not copied or stored here, or a HapnGo picture marked "AI illustration". A tool in the directory shows the share picture its maker publishes for links to it (where it publishes none, a screenshot of its own home page), kept on this server so it loads reliably; the maker can ask for it to be removed. HapnGo's pictures are generated by AI, for a story from its headline and for each step of The Journey from its title: an illustration of the subject, never a photograph of the event, with no real person's likeness, no logos and no text. An automatic check rejects a picture that shows words, a logo or a realistic face; no person checks them before they appear; write to contact@hapngo.org and a wrong one is removed.

Publishers can ask for their feed, an individual item, or a picture to be removed by writing to contact@hapngo.org. It is done promptly and without argument.

AI-generated content, stated openly

The Daily Briefing is generated by AI from the day's headlines and is published automatically each morning, with no human check before it goes out. It is labelled "AI-generated" at the top of the page and of the email, not only here. Anything reported wrong to contact@hapngo.org is corrected or withdrawn. On a day the AI step fails, the briefing is a plain list of the day's headlines and carries no AI label. What Goes pieces are drafted with AI and published only after the operator has read and approved them. The interface is translated into six other languages by machine. Since 20 September 2026 the Daily Briefing, the What Goes pieces and the Journey guides are also translated with AI, into Romanian first and since 26 October 2026 into Italian, German, French, Spanish and Portuguese: every translated page says so, says whether the operator has checked that copy yet, and links to the English original, which is the authoritative text. Since 28 October 2026 the news pages in those six languages also show, for stories from English-language publishers, a headline and a short summary written by AI in HapnGo's own words from the publisher's article and then translated by AI. Each one is labelled "AI-written", nobody checks it before it appears, and the full story is always at the source. The publisher's own headline is never machine-translated, and stories from publishers whose terms do not allow machine reading are shown on the English pages only.

This is disclosed to meet the transparency expectations of Article 50 of the EU AI Act. The plainer reason is that a reader is entitled to know how a thing was made before deciding how much weight to give it.

How tools are listed

  • Listings are editorial and are not sold. No one can buy a place in the directory, a better position, or a softer verdict.
  • Any paid placement is labelled "Sponsored", clearly, on the item itself.
  • Advertising is labelled "Advertisement" and kept visually separate from editorial content.
  • A tool's faults are stated whether or not it pays. Where a tool is slow, overpriced, poorly supported, or beaten by a cheaper or free alternative, the write-up says so.
  • Commissions do not influence recommendations. Some outbound links are affiliate links, marked on the item and explained in full on the Affiliate Disclosure page. Clicks are counted per tool as a plain number, with no personal data and no cookie.

Accuracy, and its limits

Two things are true at once: every effort is made to be right, and some of what is here will be wrong. Feeds carry errors, tools change their plans overnight, and prices belong to the vendors and move without notice. Check the current price and terms on the vendor's own site before buying anything.

Nothing on HapnGo is legal, financial, medical, tax or investment advice. It is general information written for a general audience.

Corrections

If something here is wrong, write to contact@hapngo.org. Corrections are made within two working days: the wrong text is corrected, or withdrawn. This applies to a wrong price, a misattributed headline, a broken claim about a tool, or a mistake in a guide.

Independence

HapnGo takes no money in exchange for coverage, ranking or tone. Its income comes from affiliate commissions on links a reader chooses to use and, when it runs, from labelled advertising; both are disclosed. No advertiser, vendor or affiliate programme sees an article before it is published or has any say over what it says.

Complaints about coverage

If you are a publisher, a vendor, or a reader with a complaint about something published here, write to contact@hapngo.org. Complaints are read by the operator personally and answered. Where a complaint is right, the text is corrected or withdrawn.
